Oh my goodness, We just had the most incredible experience at this horse sanctuary! It’s nestled up in the mountains, right here in our local area. I took my lovely 11-year-old daughter, who’s absolutely mad about horses, along with me. Whether you’re a seasoned rider or just starting out, you’ll feel right at home with Ishmel, the owner. He’s incredibly kind, knowledgeable, and genuinely loves and cares for all the horses. He’s got some fantastic plans for this place, and he’s doing it all on his own, juggling a part-time job with his passion for horses. The welfare of the horses is his top priority, and he’s even personally rescued and rehabilitated some of them.

When we arrived, our horses were already ready to go, but we were given the chance to groom them before our ride. It was such a lovely experience. After our ride, we had the opportunity to give them a thorough wash, meet the other horses, and even feed them all! Our ride took us around a charming small town, with some amazing views. Ishmel taught us some great tips on how to position ourselves to help the horses. We had an absolute blast, and we’re already planning to volunteer and help him out again. He even managed to capture some incredible photos and videos of our ride. It was truly a memorable experience!
